“From Governance to Greed: Nigeria’s Tragedy”
Instead of using Nigeria’s vast wealth and resources to build, develop, and uplift the nation, this government has chosen a different path. Every kobo is now being funneled into a desperate bid to win an election they have already morally lost—through wickedness, injustice, and the relentless exploitation of the poor Nigerian.
A government that prioritizes power over people has already failed in its most basic duty. Leadership is not about clinging to office; it is about serving the nation. And today, Nigerians can see clearly where the priorities lie.
This is the painful reality confronting millions of citizens who wake up every day to worsening hardship, rising inflation, insecurity, and a complete absence of hope. At a time when families can barely afford food, when businesses are shutting down under unbearable costs, and when young people see no future in their own country, those in power appear more concerned with political survival than national survival.
What makes it even more frustrating is that Nigeria is not a poor country. We are richly blessed—with natural resources, and most importantly, resilient people. Yet, instead of translating these blessings into roads, electricity, jobs, education, and healthcare, the focus has shifted to political maneuvering, propaganda, and the recycling of power.
The poor Nigerian, who should be the primary beneficiary of governance, has instead become the primary victim. Policies are introduced without compassion. Decisions are taken without consultation. And sacrifices are demanded only from those who have the least to give.
This is not governance. This is neglect dressed as leadership.
History will not be kind to those who had the opportunity to build a nation but chose instead to secure power at all costs. Because in the end, no amount of political strategy can erase the lived suffering of the people.
And Nigerians are watching—and increasingly eager for the opportunity that 2027 presents to reclaim their voice and reshape the future of their nation.
