The Kano Emirate…
Matters Arising

1. Good luck Jonathan fired Sanusi L. Sanusi from the CBN for insurbordination and the unsubstantiated claims of corruption he leveled against the NNPC!
2. The revered Emir of Kano, and one of the longest serving Northern Emirs, Ado Bayero, passed on the same month.
3. The Kingmakers of the Kano stool recommended 3 best choices – which included Aminu Ado Bayero, but did not include Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
4. Governor Kwankwaso, who was in a battle of wits with president Jonathan, after defecting from the PDP to the APC, ignored the recommendations of the Kano Kingmakers and appointed Sanusi as Emir; to spite Jonathan and save Sanusi from the Jaws of the EFCC and others, who were gunning to arrest and charge him.
5. Sanusi was given refuge inside the Kano government house until Jonathan withdrew the federal security forces from Kano, thence the smuggled Emir was escorted to the Palace.
6. Aminu Ado Bayero, a prince of impeccable Royal disposition accepted the fate dealt him by Kwankwaso and supported Sanusi as the new Emir of Kano.
7. Ganduje, unlike Kwankwaso, did not remove Sanusi under circumstances meant only to favour Aminu Ado Bayero. He did it, with evidences known to all Nigerians, to punish Sanusi for insurbordination just like president Jonathan did.
8. Aminu Ado Bayero has never acted with disrespect towards any authority, nor was he insubordinate to his political leaders, nor a partial participant in politics.
9. All of the five (5) Emirs removed by fiat did not commit any act to warrant removal by force, with little respect for the people they lead.

The government of Kano IS that of the people, for the people, and by the people.

It should NOT be the government of Kwankwaso, or even Ganduje.

If the difference is not clear in Kano, where they are, by far and away, the most politically aware population north of the two rivers, then the rest of the lands of Danfodio, El-kanemi, Lamido, Yakubu, and Dabo are doomed.

The Europeans destroyed our culture and replaced it with their own, now we are finishing the job by using a pretend democracy to destroy the remaining sacred traditional institutions, all in the name of newly civilized Democrats.

Without useful education for many, plus a social system infested by decay, it is no wonder that politics has become the killer of a proud land called Nigeria!

WHERE ARE THE ADULTS AMONG US!?
