NIGERIA; A TRIUMVIRATE STATE IN THE NAME OF DEMOCRACY WITH THE NORTH CLOSER TO OBLITERATION

INTRODUCTION

As we all always live in believing into the simply “Perfect Philosophy” of justice, and of standing for the “Truth”, it however cannot be construed that a day will come when humanity will wake up without having a “Crier” within its midst who can sit to remind many in correcting at least few out of many of their excesses. I’m sure that if it does anywhere, then it’s definite in being a bad omen resonating the advent of a doomsday.

In this agonizing write-up which we are sure of its sincerity even if someone will deem us as playing to a “Gadfly” role, yet we are definitely sure that making an inside discussion of some of the under listed issues, that very status quo that engulfs the nation as of today, thereby taking some few steps in revisiting our history will be waxing out of an apt possibility of being the source that will bail us out from the quagmire we find ourselves into in this great country, Nigeria;

SIGNS OF STATE OF ANARCHY;

It will be worthwhile to seek in acquainting ourselves into the constructive meaning of “Triumvirate” so that the discussion can be productive. The word can simply be defined as,

“Government by three powerful persons or entities who share and control authority and responsibility at one and the same time”.

And going by this simple descriptive definition, a “Triumvirate Polity” hitherto depicts nothing in the scheme of things but a clear translation of an “Official State of Anarchy” that can be said to have totally collapsed or almost into its “Final Fall” and disintegration.

Is Nigeria then on the batch of disintegration?

Well, by history, Nigeria is “64 years old” today, and having fought a 3½ year long “Civil War”, Nigeria has contained and survived the “Democracy” which its Nationalists “Freedom Fighters” tirelessly and tediously toiled and moiled for since 1957 until they achieved the realization of their dreams in 1960 when “Independence” for self-rule was officially signed between the colonial masters and the Nigerian leadership as of then.

Eschewing the citations of all historic details of the ups and downs the sociopolitical Nation-State has metamorphosed into, yet it remains apparently inevitable to re-narrate the fact that the country has really suffered unbearable conspiracy in sabotaging for its sovereignty from “1st October, 1960” to this very day.

No political chemical reaction can make any rational human being in believing that “Nigerians” will be lured into murdering their own “Two God-given and God-choosen Regional Premiers”, butchering the Federation’s Prime Minister, and killing handful of his Cabinet Ministers, and then same Nigerians malevolently decide to go into a “Civil War” with an immediate effect within a time frame of less than a “Decade” of its becoming an Independent Nation, only to be having around some malcontended “History Masters” who off and on keep whispering into everyone’s head in believing that someone is cheating somebody.

In a more frank wording let us be bold in saying it, we woke up having someone speaking into the minds of freemen, forcing Nigerians to accept the obtrusive mathematics that “Sardauna’s North” has been dominating “Azikwe’s South” or threatening “Awolowo’s West”, an arithmetical calculus that can hardly prove its codified coefficient with accurate evidence. Any sensible person can never have any difficulty in understanding that,

1. Of all the entire Igbos (Ndigbo) in existence on Earth today, “37.7%” of them are permanently domiciled in the same hated Northern Nigeria (Arēwa) which ungrateful people in the likes of “Nnamdi Kanu and cahoots” don’t ever appreciate; In fact some statistics put the percentage of the numbers of Igbos in Northern Nigeria even higher than the above given figures; just “Go and Verify”,

2. Of all the Yorubas created by the Almighty God (Allāh) 30% are leaving peacefully as Northerners without let or hindrance because of the affiliation of majority of them to the “Muslim Faith”; Also go on and verify from the Yorubas in the North-East alone”,

3. About “5-10%” from each of the minority groups of the South-South, South-West, South-East are right now evenly spread across the length and breath of the very North each of those wicked men are envious of. Everybody is at ease to “carry on and verify” to the same fact that the “Sultānate in Sokoto” and “Shēhu’s Palace” in Maiduguri have always feel bad whenever anything nasty happens to an Igbo-Man resident within their Kingdom.

However, the ratio of the number of Northerners in the entire other “Regions” put together in comparison to the “Fugitives Figures” here, which that enemy graciously condensed by the disdained North is below “10%” of their whole totalling. Now, let’s logically ask this common question,

“If the North was and is as Evil as what Ojukwu’s Tribesmen, the IPOB and other Igbo Dissenters of today are horribly painting it, together with other ‘Cynics’ will have it their heads that Northerners are messing up Nigeria, then why should the Igbos, Yorubas and other minorities decide to relocate almost completely and permanently to the North, to the extent of establishing multi-million to multi-billion Naira business ventures across ‘Northern Nigeria’, prospering therein the region even far above many Northern Merchants, why?”.

It was narrated in the “Titbit” of the North, a parable i personally heard from a highly respected and reliable public servant who has worked with the protagonist of our present narrative that,

“Ambassador Ādo Sanūsi (or Abbās, i may perhaps have mixed up the identity) was once visited in his rented apartment in Abuja by a very wealthy Igbo man who came to surprise the humble ‘Royal Diplomat’. He told ‘Bāyero’s Boy’ that he was highly disappointed coming to hear that he is residentially confined in Abuja as an ordinary simple tenant, something the Igbo Gentry considers as abominable, almost a betrayal to the ‘Royalty’ by those numbers of Billionaires of ‘Subterfuge Subjects’ subservient to the Noble ‘House of Dābo.

“The well-mannered lamenting Igbo-Man handed keys of an ‘expensively exotic mansion’ worth millions of Naira in one of the best neighbourhoods of the capital city to His Royal Highness, His Excellency, ‘Ambassador Ādõ (Abbās)’ who out of the trained discipline he got from his Pious Father, ‘Sir Sarki Sanūsi’ couldn’t waste time in asking the compassion ‘Igbo Donor’ as to why and what for?

“The Igbo Gentry with the highest propriety of politeness said,

“Your Highness, don’t you remember me? I’m the very person who once approached you for an assistance in securing me a job, and you decided to give me an executive note, introducing me to a Federal Minister who awarded me a mammoth contract that became the source of my fortune today. Your Excellency, I’m today a billionaire because of your blessing. Right now i owned tens of such mansions that i offered, I’m sure it is a legitimate wealth belonging to you, Sir. Please accept it from me Your Highness”.

The legendary Sardauna graciously did it to his Killer, “Major Chukuma Kaduna Nzeogu” who to everybody’s knowledge in the early 60s has ordered for his conscription, thereby nominating him to be trained in “Sandhurst”, a cultural hereditary discipline of “Northern Elders” in extending a helping hand to those they never ever knew, and where their backgrounds were from. In fact it was even the very values of the “Locals and Commoners” offering a helping hand to all and sundry indiscriminately.

“Emma” (the short form of the name Emmanuel) was a young Igbo man who became a resident, fully assimilated into the “Katan-Gana” hamlet, an ancestral village adjacent to “Girgir” in Bade Local Government of Yõbe State, a neighbourhood with a population of a little more than 500 inhabitants.

Emma who was the only one single Igbo man living in the village was widely loved by all in that remote community who manages his “Stalled Kiosk” dealing in provisions, selling food products spending years in that same business.

“Emmanuel” went to visit his family who were original natives in a hinterland village within the “Thick Thickets” of Anambra State and couldn’t return back from the advent of the lockdown of the “Corona Pandemic” till today.

Next door to Katan-Gana village is the town of Girgir, and it was in it that one “Okey”, an Igbo man lived into the community for more than 25 years operating quite a number of lucrative businesses including running a “Pharmacy”, food merchandising and farming. And unlike the young Emma, Okey was an adult family-man and because of his deep integration and assimilation into the local, he converted to “Islām” out of his freewill, thus enjoying a maximum degree of an “Islāmic immunity” with a massive popularity that earned him the name of “Mālam Īsā”. Alh. Īsā is still alive with his blessed family in the farming community of Girgir.

Now, the similitude of Emma and Mālam Īsā’s parable are in their thousands, probably in millions all across Northern Nigeria, and upon all these years, nobody amongst the Northerners has ever complained of any economic dominance and monopoly of the Igbos in comparison to how much the “Hausas” are butchered in their hundreds, year round in the Southeast, Southwest and even the South-south.

And only few months ago i was in the “Larāba Livestock” market only five kilometres outside Kano near “Kwasangume” along Gēzawa Road that lies few miles away from the “Jõgana Industrial Town”.

I jammed into one “Daniel Ikechukwu” equally an Igbo man who was living in that axis with his family for 33 years. He submerged into the community operating a “Rickshaw” (Kēke Nafēf) in the same way and manner as the indigenous people of the locality, thus catching up on a daily basis in the early morning routine struggle, thus queueing up side-by-side with his colleagues to pick up passengers for conveyance into the marketplace that lies about 5-6½ kilometres inside from the highway.

WHO ARE THESE THREE TRIUMVIRATE?

The “Three Triumvirate” in whose fists the entire Nigerian State is fully under their control are classified as,

(1) The “Politicians” who are a “Cinch Grouping”, constitutionally believing in the mentality of “Legitimacy” often paradoxically parading themselves as being the only legal institution approved to serve as the only custodians of “Democracy” with all the machinery of government in their grip.

This particular group always serves foreign interests to the detriment of the cultural norms of their ancestral fatherland,

(2) The “Separatists Movements” in which the identities of almost all its leadership remain under intensely abstrused statuses, with “Ambiguity and Obscurity” being their emblematic badges, all of whom seemingly signify an aimless “Secret Society” established and well funded by “External Power Blocs” geared towards achieving specific objective against the Sovereignty of the Nigerian State;

This movement have so many players in it which technically comprises the Bõko Harām Insurgents in the North-East, Banditry in the North-West and North-Central, IPOB in the South-East, the Odudua and their allies in the Yorubaland, the Niger Avengers in the South-South, as well as uncountable “cartels of kidnappers, drug barons, human traffickers” along with many, many official criminals in government scattered all across the country,

(3) Then “Religious Institutions”; Having been trusted by majority of fellow countrymen and women, this movement took that very opportunity, going on to misuse the very “Trust” which Nigerians confidently often put their “Allegiance” unto, thereby using “Divinity” for many years in order to achieve their obscured goals, aims and objectives which wasn’t clearly defined as they hold no book for “Guidance” where the “Constitution” already granted and guaranteed them such privileges as unto those “Politicians” whom both formed a union that kept mishandling Nigerians mercilessly.

The “Separatists” equally have had their own legal ways that backed every bit of their movements because they are presently under the pressured politicians who controlling each an everyone in the country, as whenever either of the “Politicians and Separatists” fails to settle their bills, nobody will come out to challenge somebody within the pivotal zones which they both lived comfortably within receiving heavy criticism that is supposed to be made. In a nutshell they have almost ganged up against the masses towards protecting their interests.

Now, these are the “Three Triumvirate” munching on the blood, honour, integrity, wealth and rights of the rest of more than “244 million Nigerians” to nobody’s concern.
